Horticulturist and garden designer Jill Weatherhead has been known to buy a florist's cyclamen for winter - all pronounced flower and patterned leaf - but they are nowhere near her favourite. With their ramped-up size and revved-up colour, these Cyclamen persicum cultivars don't thrill her as much as those cyclamens that are more retiring.
